The hardest part of any system is not trading. Today the scanner found candidates, but the regime filter and ML model both flagged caution. We sat on our hands. That discipline is what separates systematic trading from gambling.

Shadow Tracker

The shadow tracker monitored what we would have traded. Results confirmed the sit-out decision — the majority of picks faded, with one outlier carrying a misleadingly positive total. That kind of concentrated, single-name risk is exactly what we avoid.
